About The Author
Kim was with Project Respect for three years, hopping from classroom to classroom, from social action project to workshop, and from meeting to meeting all the while learning so much from the young folks who are doing amazing work address violence in their lives. Drawing on over fifteen years of community organizing experience and recent graduate degree in social theory, Kim always did her best to keep workshops both grounded and reflective, while having lots of fun! She was sad to be leaving Project Respect, but excited to return home to Edmonton with so many wonderful experiences with hundreds (thousands?!) of youth committed to making the world a better place.
