Cyber Violence

Violence occurring online on digital platforms. This can look like sexualized violence, hate speech, blackmail, threats, stalking, and much more. Although virtual violence can often be taken less seriously, it is equally impactful to the people who experience it.

Sexting

Sexual communication and intimacy in the form of conversation or images exchanged online or via text. Sexting is a way of exploring sexuality, boundaries, and relationships.

Cyberstalking

A form of virtual violence that may include humiliation, harassment, threats, identity theft, hacking, or monitoring.

Cyberbullying

Targeted abuse and harassment that occurs on virtual platforms.

Consent

A verbal, physical, and emotional agreement that happens without manipulation, threats, or head games.

Sexualized Violence

Anything that disrespects someone’s sexual being.
